How we built MIRA: Paddle’s AI Launchpad (Part 2/2)

paddle AI launchpad finalist

After the excitement of being selected to be part of the first ever Paddle’ AI Launchpad, the next step obviously was to in the first part, build a product and secondly put together a pitch that would set us apart. Thankfully Paddle got us covered by providing a lot of resources, and a few sessions with knowledgeable industry experts that hit all the key points from AI Pricing Model, to Go-to-Market Strategy and way more.

Our team dove headfirst into the uncharted waters of medical AI, armed with nothing but passion and a relentless drive to make a difference. Research became our daily mantra, an endless pursuit of understanding the nuances of medical data, the complexities of diagnoses, and the crucial elements that could make our AI assistant not just accurate but indispensable to doctors.

The days blurred together as we pored over mountains of research papers, consulted with healthcare professionals, and deciphered the intricacies of machine learning algorithms that would form the backbone of our product. The thrill of discovery was palpable as each piece of the puzzle clicked into place, bringing us closer to our goal of creating something truly transformative.

Prototype development was an exhilarating rollercoaster ride. We sketched wireframes, scribbled equations, and tirelessly iterated on designs until our screens glowed with a semblance of our vision. Countless cups of coffee fueled our late-night coding sessions, each line of code bringing us closer to breathing life into our AI assistant.

But it wasn’t just about coding and algorithms; we wanted our AI to be humane, empathetic even. We invested time in understanding not just the medical intricacies but also the softer aspects of patient care. Our goal wasn’t just to provide clinical analysis but to offer insights that resonated with the human side of healthcare.

Finally, the day arrived when our product took shape. The culmination of our sleepless nights and unyielding dedication stood before us—a tool that we believed could redefine how doctors interacted with patient records, making diagnoses more accurate and treatment pathways clearer.

And then came the challenge of encapsulating months of hard work and passion into a pitch that would capture hearts and minds. Armed with insights from the industry experts thanks to Paddle’s invaluable guidance, we honed our presentation to a razor’s edge. Each word, each slide meticulously crafted to convey not just our product but our unwavering belief in its potential to revolutionize healthcare.

Win or lose, the experience of being part of Paddle’s AI Launchpad had transformed us. It wasn’t just about the competition; it was about the journey, the growth, and the belief that what we had created could make a real difference in the world.

After a few days of deliberation, results came in…

It was to our great surprise that we found out that we were among the finalists of Paddle’s first ever AI Launchpad. We couldn’t believe that a product we started building just 6 weeks ago made it among the +50 startups that participated in the program.

Even though we didn’t which was expected for a product that was newly built and didn’t have any traction in terms of user acquisition or revenue, it was just a confirmation to us that we were on the right path. The Launchpad was a great environment that pushed us to surpass our own limit.

If you are an AI startup founder, take a chance and participate in the next Launchpad. You might just walk away with $25,000 or at least some amazing education, connections or opportunities.
